My name is Tammy, I am the owner of a daycare for Small Dogs only.

My years of experience as a dog walker / groomer and lifetime owner of dogs has given me invaluable insights into canine behavior, health, and happiness. I've had the pleasure of working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Along with multiple workshops for Stress , Anxiety and Dog body language I have also volunteered assisting various training classes at the well established , non-profit , Swansea Dog Obedience School where I am also a current member . I can’t leave out dog sports ! I’ve had the pleasure of training and competing in a few different dog sports . Aside from the competition aspect , and winning a Judges Choice rosette , I will always recommend finding a sport both you and your dog enjoy. Dog sports are essentially about sharing the moments with your dog and making memories .

The Pup Spot is exclusively for small dogs only located in the Beaches area of Toronto . We run a structured , socialization program at The Pup Spot based on positive reinforcement . We also follow a full disclosure of how your Pups day went .

 

1. Safe Environment: With size-appropriate play areas and equipment, your small dog can play safely without the risk of being intimidated or injured by larger dogs.

2. Engaging Activities: We offer a variety of stimulating activities, including puzzle games, agility courses, and themed playdates to keep your dog mentally and physically active. We also structure our day for rest periods to decompress . Dogs are given appropriate areas for napping . We also have separate areas for mealtime for your pup.

5. Meet and Greet: Bring your dog for a meet and greet to ensure they are comfortable and to allow us to assess their needs and temperament . We encourage multiple visits for shy dogs that need a bit more time .

6. Complete the Paperwork: Fill out our enrollment form, providing important information about your dog’s health, behavior, and preferences etc.
